理念

發展和推動基督教藝術本身就是一項藝術宣教事工，「祝福亞洲藝術展」就是建立宣教的工人和創作宣教的工具。我們深信我們當中的藝術宣教作品是具有永恆價值的，是蘊含歷久不衰的信息；也可以成為宣教歷史的文獻！基督徒藝術家就是要裝備自己懂得宣講福音，也懂得以藝術作為傳遞上帝訊息的媒體。參與在這個藝術展中的基督徒藝術家就是一個藝術宣教的見證人，參展者以上帝賜與他的藝術恩賜來回饋給上帝，就是實踐和馴服上帝向誰多給就向誰多取的教導！

今天是一個資訊爆炸的年代，坊間有很多混亂的訊息；可是在我們的藝術作品中可以正本清源，把我們正面和積極的生命訊息透過藝術展現彰顯上帝的美善。
今天又是一個圖像世界，圖像是最容易讓人理解的；基督徒藝術家有一項獨特的恩賜就是懂得用圖像來說話。我們就善用這一項技巧以圖像來表達福音的信息，讓人可以看到這些藝術作品去思考生命的意義，去反省我們身處這個年代的角色。從思考和反省中親近上帝！透過以上的展現過程就是履行了我們的藝術作品來感染社群，釋放上帝的慈愛、憐憫和公義進入人群中。

基督徒要承傳大使命的吩咐，就是以我們的獨特恩賜向萬民傳福音。今日的萬民就是在網絡中，我們不但要有實體藝術展，也要把藝術展放上線。以一個超越時空的方式接觸萬民，就是我們用諸般的智慧來傳揚祂！藝術是無國界，無種族的分別，藝術是超越不同文化和語言的！我們在每一個年代；即使身處地緣的困難中，無論得時和不得時，務要傳道。

推廣「祝福亞洲藝術展」背後的理念，就是要凝聚一群基督徒藝術家共同實踐以上的信念。但願上帝感動每一位認同這信念的基督徒藝術家能夠參與其中，我們除了努力地創作更多高質素和有份量的作品參展之外，也鼓勵基督徒藝術家進入這個籌辦的系統中來服侍。盼望大家從瀏覽這個官網中，可深化大家對這個事工的認知，而衍生內在的動力，進而化為行動。甚願上帝能與你和我們一起在藝術宣教中成為同路人。阿門！

大會標誌的起源

這個 logo 設計是著名香港基督徒藝術家兼設計人賴維鈞先生的作品，logo 的主題是三個色彩斑斕的射燈光柱構成一個多角度透視感的十字架。這十字架發放出來的生命色彩就如藝術家們以藝術生命作見證， 聚焦在十字架上，傳揚好訊息。又正如基督徒作鹽作光的生命般把自己的生命訊息透過藝術作品光照別人。
三個射燈光柱的形態也好像三個號角的形狀，恍如一股力量以號角從十字架的信息出發，來呼喚基督徒藝術家起來，以藝術作品來傳揚上帝的美善。

Concept

The development and the push to grow Christian art in itself constitutes the Christian Art Mission Ministry, and in conjunction with "Blessing Asia Art Exhibition " aims to support missionaries through Christian evangelistic artwork and also create quality mission art tools, which could be invaluable to church planting ministry. We are convinced that the Christian evangelistic artworks have eternal values and long lasting information, and also could become a literature for Christian Art culture and tradition! Christian artists need to constantly equip themselves in their skills of preaching the Gospel, and simultaneously, become more effective by using Christian art to spread the Word of God. Many artists participating in this art exhibition testify the success of the Christian Art Ministry. These artists reflect God's glory through the artistic gifting that God has bestowed upon them, for with the measure they use their gifting, it will be measured back to them.

Today, we are living in an era where technology is advancing at an unprecedented rate or in a world that appears to have lost the moral anchor. Crime rates are escalating and human sufferings gone unnoticed or unheard. But Christian art is a powerful tool that can reconcile man back to the Creator in this broken world with the message of God's love and hope in Him.

Today, art (drawings, paintings, sculpture-making) has been used to communicate different messages, for a wide spectrum of purposes, mainly, because we have eyes to see. It is the easiest way to communicate and to inspire people to think and act. Christian artists and missionaries can make good use of this unique gifting of art to tell the Gospel story so that people will think about the meaning of life on earth and hereafter. People will get serious and closer to God through thinking and reflection. Rising above all odds, Christian artists/missionaries with their artwork serve to make an impact on the church and the community, and their testimonies speak through their gifting.

The Great Commission to the church is to evangelize and spread the gospel to all people, tongues and nations of the world. Since the invention of the great communication medium called "Internet" and its availabity to the world, many churches have turned and made used of this remarkable technology as a means for Christian ministry and evangelism. Likewise, Christian artists could tap on this technology and use it to bring the Good News and its influence to touch many lives via Internet.

Art has no borders, no ethnic distinctions for art transcends different cultures and languages! We must preach the Gospel, in season and out of season, and anywhere else God sends us. The idea behind the promotion of "Blessing Asia Art Exhibition" is to gather a group of Christian artists to fulfill the above beliefs and aspirations. It is my desire that God will inspire every participating artist to be aspired to create more high-quality artwork for the interest of the exhibition, and also to encourage many more Christian artists to participate in this ministry.

I humbly hope that this website has given you a deeper understanding of the vision of Art ministry, and you will be encouraged and motivated to put to action what God has laid in your heart, and become my fellow traveler in this art mission, with you and God. Amen!

祝福亞洲- 基督徒視覺藝術展的異象、宣言、使命。

異象：

2015年12月香港舉辦了一個小型的基督徒視覺藝術家邀請展，共有19位香港基督徒藝術家參與，這藝術展所帶來的迴響十分廣闊和深遠。策展人盼望𠄘傳這一個運動，把基督教藝術的發展延展開去。又能夠薪火相傳，讓基督教文化在亞洲社區有多一種另類的聲音。而我們盼望藉著上帝的大能讓我們得著倚靠，與眾基督徒藝術家一起同行。這個運動從香港起始；探索在亞洲區舉辦基督徒藝術展，讓不同的基督徒藝術家可以參與其中。

宣言：

我們深信藝術可以令人生活更豐富，令人的生命更豐盛。參與藝術創作和欣賞藝術一樣可以令人身心靈愉快，消除戾氣，減輕生活壓力，也能舒緩情緒。盼望我們可以透過藝術展示，令社群更加融洽。從基督徒藝術家的角度看：就是我們深感從上帝而來、得天獨厚的藝術恩賜來創作；是上帝美好的祝福，我們當以藝術為祭呈獻給上帝。

使命：

我們盼望身體力行，由香港的策展團隊和基督徒，合力招贅一群亞洲區的基督徒藝術家，以藝術來回饋上帝。藉着不同的藝術作品傳遞上帝的美善和正面的訊息！我們非常着意把藝術融入社區，是因為藝術有治療的作用，能使人與萬物，和人與大地建立和睦的關係，也令人在參與和欣賞藝術過程中建立可親近的人際情誼，使社區和諧。讓我們在這一片美麗的土地播種美善和健康的幼苖，令充滿正能量的國度可以茁壯成長。

藝術展的主辦者

「祝福亞洲」基督徒華人視覺藝術雙年展乃是「香港藝術動力」策展的其中一個品牌，每兩年在亞洲區內舉辦一次；每一次展覽也會邀請亞洲區內的基督徒藝術家參展。我們選擇不同的地域舉行，目的是讓基督教藝術亞洲社區化；讓我們的作品不單止局限在藝術館、展覽廳和文化中心，我們盼望我們的藝術作品帶着上帝的信息能夠進入亞洲社群，好使更多人能夠接觸藝術，因為認識我們的作品而可以親近上帝。
